Old Bridge (3-2) at Woodbridge (3-3): Serving as Garrett Mozolic's press agent, the following statement is to all college coaches out there: "Garrett Mozolic of Woodbridge High School is expected to be completely healthy following surgery and if you're looking for a hard-working, hard-driving, old-school football player who loves to compete, he's your guy." As for the game, Old Bridge is coming off a victory over mighty Piscataway and all the pieces are beginning to fit. Even with Mozolic, it would be tough for the Barrons to win this one. Safety Dorian Mambelli has been playing big for the Knights. Old Bridge 21-7.

Picks: Middlesex County Football
The Star Ledger On-Line 10-20-2006
Old Bridge (3-2) at Woodbridge (3-3):
Old Bridge comes off a 16-13 upset of Piscataway on Travis Gerdons last-second field goal. Woodbridge will play without star tailback Garrett Mozolic, who injured his knee in the final minute of last weeks victory over J.P. Stevens.

Home News Tribune - Prediction - Edison is definitely an improved team, but now is not the time to be playing Woodbridge, a team coming off a heart-breaking, last-second loss to Sayreville.  Garrett Mozolic is the best back in the GMC right now.  Woodbridge  27-12

The Star Ledger - Prediction - Woodbridge (1-3) at Edison (0-3): Quarterback Anthony Viola and tailback Garrett Mozolic should help Woodbridge break back into the victory column after a couple of hard-luck defeats. Woodbridge, 19-7

BY: GUY KIP

The Star Ledger - Prediction - Woodbridge (1-2) at Sayreville (3-0): Quarterback Mark Margres and fullback John Natsvogel have provided consistency for Sayreville. Woodbridge tailback Garrett Mozolic needs some assistance from his teammates on offense. Sayreville, 14-7
September 29, 2006 - The Star Ledger Online
BY: GUY KIPP

Home News Tribune - Prediction - Woodbridge (1-2) at Sayreville (3-0): I'm really torn here. I've seen Woodbridge twice and even know the Barrons lost both, I'm still impressed the way this team plays. If the Barrons can eliminate some mistakes, they can play with anyone. Garrett Mozolic is an old-time player and I love old-time players. Sayreville, meanwhile, is Sayreville. The Bombers didn't feel as though they played at their best in a 17-14 victory over J.P. Stevens, but their defense will keep them in every game. And they have some old-school players too (see Frank Velardi). I'm going with the home team here, but this one could be a showdown. Sayreville 21-13.
