Carteret scored first and last in the scrimmage against the Barrons, but Woodbridge scored three times in between for a 20-13 final. The Ramblers

scored a defensive TD in the first series on a fumbled toss, and a long rushing TD with :45 left in the game.  Viola scored on a boot left to end the first half.  Sophomore Rich Curtin ran one left giving Wood a 13-7 lead, PAT by Christian

Mangine.  Glen Cottrell threw a  fade to Anthony Graham, boosting the lead.  A penalty against the Barrons forced Mangine to kick a 35 yards PAT, which he hit with room to spare.  Carteret is a tough opponent, and coming away with the W was large.  Coach Russo and his staff are now gearing up for the season opener against Passaic County Tech on Friday,  September 8 at 7pm away.  Come out and support the TEAM!
