This Friday night, October 26, 2007 at 7pm, Nick Priscoe Stadium is the place to be!  Senior Night, Home Coming, and a shot at watching the Woodbridge Barrons efforts to put themselves into the NJSIAA NJ2-G4 Playoffs, are the prime reasons to be there!

The Woodbridge Barrons defeated the Old Bridge Knights (14-12) this past Friday night.  The Vikings of South Brunswick (3-3) are the last hurdle standing between a guaranteed playoff berth, and a consolation game!

Yes, elimination from the playoffs is a possibility.  A loss to South Brunswick does not guarantee the consolation game, but does open the door for the Edison Eagles to slip into the playoffs at the Barrons’ expense.

The solution?  Defeat the South Brunswick Vikings!

South Brunswick (4-3) is also playing for an NJSIAA Playoff berth in the CJ – G4.  A loss on their part will open the door to their being eliminated from the playoffs.  They will not come into Woodbridge and lay down for the Barrons.  They have produced 163 points in 7 games (23.3) while allowing 129 points (18.4).

The Barrons have registered 92 points (13.2) in 7 games, while surrendering 122 points (17.4).

Against common opponents, they have the same record as the Barrons with the exception of a South Brunswick win, and a Woodbridge loss, against the East Brunswick Bears.

Woodbridge cannot allow the South Brunswick Vikings to stop their momentum!  The Barrons control their own destiny.  Win and your in!  Lose and you may not!  Friday night will determine who wants it more!

5-3 remains the goal!  Play, Defend, Score!

Sideline Prediction:  Woodbridge 21 – South Brunswick 20
