Freshman Squad Complete UNDEFEATED Season!

A Memo to the 2005 Woodbridge Freshmen Football Squad

How U Feelin’ Wood?     AHHHHHHIIIIITE!

Way back in July, when weight training and conditioning began, we talked about playing Woodbridge Football.  We told you to be successful, you had to bust your butts and work hard in every practice.  And that all that hard work could result in running the table and turning in an undefeated freshmen football season.  From that point, throughout daily pre-season practices and a nine game schedule, you were reminded of the need to continue to work hard and that the goal was still intact.

Well, you heeded those words and you have arrived with the prize in your hands.  You have run the table and produced an awesome 7 – 0 – 2, UNDEFEATED season!  Congratulations!  I am very proud of your accomplishment, and I expect positive things from you in the future.  This season has been a wonderful experience for me, and I thank you for the dedication, consideration and respect you gave me!  I will always remember the time shared.

The Colonia Patriots Freshmen Squad came to Nick Priscoe Stadium on Friday, November 11 trying to upset the Woodbridge Freshmen’s chances of an UNDEFEATED Season.  They left with a 20 - 0 loss to register in their record book!
